Bookmarking a web page will save it so that it's easier to get to later. Instead of entering a U-R-L every time you want to visit a site, you can just click a bookmark.

Bookmark a Page

  1. Click the Bookmark This Tab button.
  2. Give the bookmark a new name (optional).

  3. Choose a location for the bookmark.
  4. Click Done.

A bookmark to this page is added to the bookmarks bar.

Open a Bookmark

  1. Click a bookmark on the Bookmarks Bar.

OR

  1. Click the Customize and Control Google Chrome menu button.
  2. Select Bookmarks.
  3. Select a Bookmark.

Manage Bookmarks

After you've got a bunch of bookmarks, you can use the bookmark manager to keep them organized.

  1. Click the Customize and Control Google Chrome menu button.
  2. Select Bookmarks.
  3. Select Bookmark manager.

  4. The Bookmark Manager opens, showing your bookmarks organized into the bookmarks bar, and your other bookmarks.

  5. Select a bookmark folder.

Create a New Bookmark Folder

  1. In the Manage Bookmarks screen, click the Organize menu button.
  2. Select Add New Folder.

  3. Give the folder a name and click Save.

Move a Bookmark

  1. Click and drag a bookmark into a folder.

Delete a Bookmark

If you no longer need a bookmark, you can delete it from either the bookmark bar, menu, or manager.

  1. Right-click a bookmark.
  2. Note: If you needed to change the bookmark's name, or the U-R-L that it points to, select Edit.

  3. Select Delete.
